NB: Shinola moved to a new location and they did not hire us to letter the windows at the new store. The logos at the new store do not look good. We DID NOT INSTALL THOSE LOGOS.
Water gilding on glass, it’s a slow process.
Glass gilding, also known as water gilding on the glass, we rendered these beautiful logos at the old location of Shinola, a small specialty shop located in Washington, DC. Please note that Shinola has moved into a new place down the street. Unfortunately, they did not hire us to install the logos at the new shop. Therefore, those logos do not look good. Unfortunately, we have to note that here for you to ensure that this work at that location is not ours.

Perfect water gilding on glass requires patience.
Brendon takes his time polishing the gold leaf. Unfortunately, there is no seamless way to patch the gold leaf. If you make a mistake, even one small scratch on the back of the gold leaf, then the entire logo needs to be removed and redone from the start!
Please take a moment to visit the Shinola website. https://www.shinola.com/
